Lila Mae's House | Protectors of Peace
Human trafficking is the fastest growing crime in our world today and is a 150 billion dollar industry world-wide. 1 in 7 women successfully escape with their lives. But when they do, Lila Mae’s House is here to help.
Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy environment where survivors of sex trafficking can rest, heal, recover, and develop life skills to become empowered, independent, and self-sufficient women.
We are committed to creating this environment through therapeutic healing practices such as, meditation, yoga, physical exercise, the use of our labyrinth, psychiatric care, therapy, trauma specific one-on-one and group sessions with our case manager. We also give these women a chance to reclaim their lives by aiding in getting their social security and birth certificate. Job readiness skills are cultivated, and participants are encouraged to volunteer and give back to the community.
A monthly gift from the heart can make a meaningful difference in the lives of women who have had the courage to escape and seek help to survive their trauma. Please make a monthly donation to help us provide a lifeline to these women.
